Healthy Life with Sport

The Erasmus+ «Health, Solidarity, and Social Cohesion with Sport» seminar was held on December 11th 2021, at the EUROPROODOS VET Institution Corinth premises in Corinth, Greece. Thirty people (30) went to the presentation on the theme “Healthy Life with Sport”, which was led by Mr Panagiotis Mitrogiannis & Ioanna Kanellou, who kept people interested by talking about the link between physical activity and diet in more detail.

The speakers stated that proper diet can assist in improving one’s athletic performance. Along with maintaining a nutritious diet, the most effective strategy for maintaining one’s health is leading an active lifestyle that includes regular exercise. Eating a healthy diet can assist in supplying the fuel you need to complete a race or simply have the stamina to take part in a sport or activity for fun. When getting ready for exercise and sports, eating healthy food can help in a number of ways, including:

  • making it possible for you to succeed in your chosen game or activity
  • lowering the chances of being injured or becoming ill
  • maximizing one’s ability to recover after physical activity or a workout routine
